After a long career in retail management, the last 8 years of which I spent managing a large PetSmart store, I find myself in a brand new role supporting the Portland and Reno processing centers as an HR Generalist. I have always been passionate about development and love spending my days moving the puzzle pieces behind the scenes to ensure we have great people on our team, and helping to develop their skills for success. My greatest career satisfaction comes from helping someone develop a skill that improves their work performance and also translates to greater success in their personal life.
My hobbies range from playing tabletop strategy and roleplaying games to cooking, reading and disc golf. More than anything I find my joy from getting lost in the backcountry! Whether hiking, running, scrambling, floating, paddling, or contemplating, I love to explore the peaks, valleys and beaches of the Pacific Northwest!
